I think what intrigues people to Tekken more than the Street Fighter characters is the fact they’re 3D fighters on a 2D-esque fighting genre and the fact no one has seen what these characters look like with Street Fighter’s art style. A great thing to consider is the character balancing seems fine in terms of various fighting styles. It’d be nice to see how they make classic characters appear on current generation platforms. It’s been about eleven years since we last saw an in-game appearance from him. This is a similar type of line-up but I must say that the fact a Tekken 2 character lives on is quite awesome and it’s also great to see Ogre from Tekken 3 and Tekken Tag Tournament included in this game. However, players will have a little more hope with the Tekken character line-up below: I believe the problems lies with the fact that Capcom hardly ever sideline Street Fighter characters, so essentially most of this line-up is expected. Although there are still announcements to be made, I partially feel that the character line-up on the Street Fighter side could have been more exciting. The Street Fighter characters look pretty good, but I can’t help but feel sad knowing my personal favourite character El Fuerte, isn’t going to be a part of the game. The list of Street Fighter characters is as followed: Despite that, it would be a great idea to outline every character (including the exclusive ones) so that not all hope in the character line-up is lost before the release in March. The line-up has been quite nostalgic and the excitement towards this game is astounding.Ī few weeks ago, the random character additions of Pacman and Megaman was announced which seemed to make fans feel like two character spots were somewhat wasted. It will combine two of the greatest arcade fighting games of all time with a wonderful blend of characters from current Street Fighter and Tekken games and past ones. Street Fighter X Tekken for many will be the fighting game of the year.
